This list isn't meant for problems like yours. The Wiki-Page lists this as peer2peer support: suse-linux-e-subscribe@suse.com
http://en.opensuse.org/Communicate
You may contact me directly if you need further instructions and don't want to subscribe to that high volume list.

Sorry Peter, the Communicate page has to be updated. The opensuse@opensuse.org is now general discussion list without limitation to specific topic. You can see other threads.
As this list is now a general discussion list are there any ground rules setup that people should adhere to and where are they posted. Getting this established early will help eliminate problems like they have on suse-linux-e with top-posting, OT posting etc.
the status of this list was discussed, but no decision was never taken. in fact no "openSUSE life" list exists anymore.
anybody can do what he wants, nobody care anymore
and I'm not glad of this

Then you are saying that Rajko does not have the authority to make the statement he did about the list now being open to all discussions? And saying that nobody cares is wrong, I for one do care and if the list should not be used for problems then it should be maintained as such. The only problem is there was no formal statement as to the intended use of this list and if there was one it was not enforced. I'm not trying to start any argument about this list and its use but if a list is created for a particular goal that goal needs to be stated somewhere so it can be adhered to. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998
