I am still a Linux newbie so when making a multi-boot system I format the hard drive with Partition Magic (PM) and then choose a boot loader (System Commander (SC), PM boot loader, NT4 boot manager, or Linux LILO). I find the user manuals from PM and SC extremely helpful in developing techniques that work. I would suggest always loading all your operating systems before doing any real work on the system. There is always some risk that loading the last system will not work out for some reason and that way you can minimize your time loss. The experienced Linux folks will no doubt disagree with my choice of tools because of leaning too much on Windows products; however it is a way to learn about PCs and be successful in the process. Will be glad to talk off line if you wish. Good luck. Respectfully, Ken Becker ---------- Original Text ---------- From: "Peter B.
