I am using linux to create the floppies:
dd if=bootdisk1 of=/dev/fd0
I am trying memorex floppies right now, but still no luck.
After creating the floppies can you mount them and see the files on them? Also, if using dd to create them try using bs=1024 to set the block size. It may help.

Yes I can mount the disk and see a readme file saying that it is linux bootdisk or something like that. I tried the bs=1024 and got the same error message: Boot failed: please change disk and press a key to continue. I think I'v been working on this too long and am not thinking clearly. Rafe
