GLIBC_2.0 gone in SuSE 9.1

Folks, I just upgraded from SuSE 9.0 to 9.1 and everything seems even nicernow! However, when I tried running my Matlab and Maple software, both hung or exited because GLIBC_2.0 is not defined in libc.so.6 ...
