Dear girls and guys, I have installed SUSE 10.0 on my system: AMD K7 1200MHz Athlon 266MHz MSI-K7T-266-Pro VIA-KT266 socket-A DDR-DRAM 512 MB GEFORGE-2 MX-200 32MB AGP + TV-Out CD drive LG CDRW 16x10x40x DVD drive PHILIPS PCDV5016G NEC ZIP drive TRUST AMI MOUSE Serial Printer HP psc2110
I try to run Kooka, but that indicates their is no SANE library, while I checked it is installed.
Then my bet would be it isn't in the library path. The quick and dirty way to check this is a
LD_LIBRARY_PATH="full_path_to_directory_where_sane_library_resides" kooka
from the command line. If that works you should add that path to /etc/ld.so.conf and run ldconfig.
If it doesn't I'm out of ideas for the moment. :-)
Regards,
Thanks for the suggestion, but the situation is not changed. Kooka finds the scanner hpiao:/usb/PSC_2100_Series and then displays amessage: No scanner found Your system contains no SANE installation.. So the mystery stays!!!
