I have recently switched to IMAP, and I'm seeing a little weird issue with TB - occasionally I'll start replying to a mail, then get interrupted and save it in Drafts (or it happens automatically). WHen I resume a little later and send the mail, the copy in Drafts isn't deleted and sometimes the original mail isn't tagged as "replied to".
Thunderbird keeps several draft copies as you write, which are marked as deleted but not actually deleted. The actual delete happens when the folder is compacted, I think, which may not happen in the same session. Deleted emails are not seen with TB, I see them if I look at that folder with Pine. In your case you interrupted the writing, I'm not sure if that makes a difference. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
