hi,
I want to connect my 2x linux boxes together via parallel port. how can i do that? which communication protocol do i need? Help(e.g. doc, script, c-code, http ... etc.) on this would be appreciated.
You can configure this with YaST. Use the PLIP interfaces to set up a point to point connection between your two boxes. You need a laplink like cable to connect the machines.

Hi Bodo! This is good idea. But could (and how) I set up a connection between my Linux machine (486/33, SuSE 4.4.1) and my wife's XT (80086, Dos 3.1)? Thanks for your help.
