- What please does " nonOSS " mean ?
Thanks
I have always taken it to mean those applications appearing under the heading of Proprietary Software when you select the Patterns in YaST2 software manager. Such s/ware is Acroread, Java, RealPlayer, et alia.
Its just Non Open Source Software. Might be free, but the source is not available.
The source might be available - but it might be under a non Open Source license, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
