I have some older systems that I am trying to install opensuse 13.2 on. The installation seems to go okay until it reaches the initial reboot. Then I get a Grub error "no such device" and then a number which I assume is the UUID of the device that it cannot find. I don't know if has been discussed here already but I have googled and not come up with anything really useful or is beyond my ability to comprehend. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they did to resolve it. I seem only to have the grub rescue or the rescue system to work with. Would be grateful for any simple step by step assistance. Thanks in advance Eddie -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
