Parallel Port Scanner - Any Help?

I have acquired (free) a Visioneer OneTouch 7600 parallel port scanner. Has anyone had any experience making one of these work in SuSE? I am running SuSE 8.0 (until I get 8.2)? I have done some searching and have not been able to find anything useful. Will SANE work with parport scanners? I can always re-boot into Widoze and use it but I'd rather not. Any help is appreciated. TIA D.C.
