Your browser has real working IPv6 address - but is avoiding using it. We're concerned about this. [more info]

I don't understand this. Meaning, what can I do to make firefox use IPv6 and why exactly it doesn't?
You can configure your computer to prefer IPv4 or IPv6
After two decades of configuration, I don't remember what this machine is configured for. This moment I'm past bed time, so I don't remember where to check, either.
/etc/gai.conf
The default is to prefer ipv6.
Telcontar:~ # cat /etc/gai.conf | egrep -v "^[[:space:]]*$|^#" precedence ::ffff:0:0/96 100 Telcontar:~ # Ok, then it is all on defaults.
Routers often use link local addresses.
Which can not be used in commands.
Of course they can. They are perfectly valid IPv6 addresses.
Firefox refuses to accept them. Old bug. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.4 x86_64 at Telcontar)
