When editing document, the status bar at the bottom has places for text to be located, but the various places are empty. A few of them will get text when I click on them, but most stay empty. Of course, when I click on them, they also change value.
It is build 3.2.0.7
Anyone else see this?

CC yourself and add your notes, maybe that helps to get the OO people working on this.
OpenOffice_org-3.2.0.7-1.1.x86_64 on 11.2, nVidia
Not seeing the missing text problem. Could it be related to video card brand?
As I commented in the bugzilla report, if I start ooffice as OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde ooffice all is ok. Then it has a different look and feel, but the various labels are correct. The default is OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde4 Of course, the kde4 look might be exercising X server issues. Your guess is as good as mine. I am using the open source ATI driver, as I mentioned elsewhere in this thread. -- Roger Oberholtzer OPQ Systems / Ramböll RST Ramböll Sverige AB Krukmakargatan 21 P.O.
