Many people seem to prefer Mutt because it is very configurable and gives you a lot of control, I have always been a Pine user because that was the first unix mail browser I used on DEC OSF/1. I think I like Tkrat best for X, but mostly I use Netscape mail for the simple reason that regardless what os I am using (I triple boot now and will be quadruple booting in a few weeks when my Solaris x86 shows up) I have the _exact_same_interface_ for mail wherever I go.
