When wired I can get connected to internet, but when tried wireless - I can't. I can see all networks around my house and when tried to connect mine - can't? card is configured (Intel Lenovo Thikpad Card wlan-wlan0) I know SLED works fine on T61p but WiFi, that's why I tried openSuse 10.3 I use KNetwork Manager.
I have an X60 with Intel wireless. What I find is that it often takes 5 to 6 attempts with KNetworkManager until I finally get a successful connection. I just keep trying. Then for a while it will work at first try. At the university the problem is worse than at home, but since there is no clear pattern, I don't know how to report a bug on it. It is still black magic for me...
There are times when you can get the card in such a state that nothing you do seems to allow it to connect. Often attempting to connect to a wired network (even if physically unconnected) will set this back to the state where it will work again. In a target rich environment (lots of APs near by) I've noticed it hunts around a bit, seemingly taking longer. -- ----------JSA--------- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
