ttf in so52 for spreadsheet but not writer in SuSE 8?

I used fetchmsttfonts. Now when I run Star Office 5.2 I get access to ttf in the spreadsheet modul but not when I run Starwrtier part of Star Office. Any clues, why one and not the other? They appear in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/ when I run the kcontrol font installer. Nev
