Hello All
I've been trawling the web looking for a definitive answer but have not been able to mount my Zio! SmartMedia card reader. I tried mounting /dev/sda1 but that failed. Has anyone had experience with this one? Failing that, can anyone recommend a failsafe USB SmartMedia reader/writer?
I use a Dazzle unit which only works corectly if it is plugged in with the card already in it. Took me a while to sort that out, but with the card in the right way and then plugging the usb cable in it comes up OK. If I put a card in while it's plugged then the card isn't recognised.
Don't know if that'll help...
What messages do you get on console 10 when you plug it up (hit ctrl-alf-F10 to see them)?
Dylan
TIA

I'll try your connection trick.
By the way, can you R/W your card?
Also, I can read this card without any trouble using gtkam through the camera.
