[S.u.S.E. Linux] no KDE, ftp or telnet

Hi. I've just installed suse linux (from a CD that came with PCWorld), and I've seen the KDE has not installed, or, at least, the X doesn't look like they should. And I have no ftp server and no access by telnet. I thought that KDE came with de SuSE distribution, and that ftp and telnet came with any basic installation of linux.
