Hi everybody,
I searched HCL and HKL (german) and google for the HP Pavilion dv9760ez Notebook but couldn't find infos... I'd like to install openSuse 10.3
Anyone has running this model? Any problems?
The only part I found in HCL was the Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG, that shuld work. But how about the rest?
Any infos? Would be great. Thanks!
Daniel
As a rule of thumb, HP is one of the most Linux friendly laptops going. I wouldn't think twice about shrinking the windows partition and installing openSuSE on it. If you want to fully preserve you windows hard disk and not take any chances of a hiccup, then just buy another 120G drive for your laptop ~$65 and do the install on that. -- David C.
