RE: [SLE] audio

Are you using the OSS drivers, by any chance ? They're not that good, hence the static. The ALSA drivers are better, but I use OSS because they have a multi-processor (SMP) driver, whereas, last I heard, ALSA does not. If anyone knows differently, I would love to hear about it. Stuart.
