I knew from earlier versions of openSUSE that it was possible to reset the MBR, but I lost how to do that. Can anybody tell me? Thanks,
I think Yast, bootloader, write generic mbr or something like that, hidden somewhere. I mean that it moves around from version to version. But, if grub is already saved in the MBR, then modify a global setting like the timeout, and commit the change. This forces grub to be written again. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
