Allen - I'll have to go over this weekend and take a look, but my mother has a Wacom tablet working on her 10.3 system. I believe it was a fairly painless install.
I know the model is at least five years old.
I have a wacom 5x4 tablet. Works out of the box via yast and a Genius mouse pad UC-Logic 8x6 with the driver from here: http://www.stud.fit.vutbr.cz/~xhorak28/index.php?page=WizardPen_Driver Both work under 10.3. I think the wacom is expensive for what it is. You can get the genius for around 30 Euros.
