On another note, a friendly fellow named Bandicot (I think) said try to use KWord in KOffice7. I can find no reference to that in either of the manuals, or by doing whereis. So I went to Google, and there is a KOffice 1.2.1-7 RPM for RedHat. Is this the program I should try? Will the RH RPM work OK on SuSE? (I thought that RH did not support KDE???)
KOffice and KWord are both available in SuSE distros 9.0, 9.1, 9.2, and KWord is available in 8.0, 8.1 and, perhaps earlier. I do not use it so memory fails (probably age related). ps. do not cross distros with rpms unless you rebuild them. I don't think redCap supports anything without long...green. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/photos
