I noticed these today, many of them:

Are they important? Should I write a bugzilla about that?
After looking at a few results from a search for "amdgpu: failed to write reg", it seems other people treat it as a bug. The problems depended on the particular kernel, so you might try an older kernel and see whether it goes away.
They started today. cer@Laicolasse:~> zgrep "amdgpu: failed to write reg" /var/log/messages*z cer@Laicolasse:~> cer@Laicolasse:~> grep "amdgpu: failed to write reg" /var/log/messages | head 2023-11-03T12:04:17.802675+01:00 Laicolasse kernel: [141460.067773][ T5194] amdgpu 0000:07:00.0: amdgpu: failed to write reg 28b4 wait reg 28c6 2023-11-03T12:04:17.802703+01:00 Laicolasse kernel: [141460.073620][ T5194] amdgpu 0000:07:00.0: amdgpu: failed to write reg 1a6f4 wait reg 1a706 This might be just after restore from hibernation to disk. Supposedly I have scripts to log hibernate/restore points, but they are not working. I updated on 2023-10-31 a few things, including xorg-x11-server, and today at 20 hours some sound related things. So no updates just before the amdgpu errors. last boot on 2023-10-31T15:57:48,482381399+01:00 -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from openSUSE 15.5 (Laicolasse))
