Then you should see what it looks like from a paid customer's POV. I paid for SuSE 10 and it is still on back-order. Supposed to be shipped 30 Sept. What good is free shipping if it is still at the printers?
I think the demand for the product is gumming up the works over at Novell. Never had this problem when Suse was running it.
How do you get 'supposed to be shipped 30 Sept' when the product is not to be released untin 6 Oct?
From my order confirmation for 10.0:
<quote> Product Name Qty Ordered Delivery Method Price ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE Linux 10.0 Ships Sept. 30th 1 TPFA 33.10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sub Total: 33.10 49.04 EUR Total: 33.10 49.04 EUR </quote> Still hasn't arrived her as yet, but I'm not expecting it to quite yet. Just a few lines down in the same mail: <quote> When your order does ship, please allow the following delivery times: - For UPS Ground shipments, please allow 5 - 7 business days for delivery. - For FedEx shipments within the United States, please allow 2 - 3 business days for delivery. - For FedEx shipments outside of the United States, please allow 3 - 5 business days for delivery. </quote> all of which point towards it arriving on my doorstep sometime between tomorrow and Friday.
