I was wondering if anyone else has noticed delays while trying to connect to Google's homepage while using Mozilla 1.6 or Firefox 0.8. Seems that everytime I try to connect, my Mozilla status bar sits at "Resolving host www.google.com..." for up to 30 seconds before connecting. I would think that I was having a DNS issue, but if I dig for www.google.com, I get a response is 6 msec. I also don't have any speed issuses if I try to connect using Konqueror or Mozilla 1.6 on a XP machine I have. Also, my problem exists on both my home machine, which connects through a dsl line, and my work machine which connects through a full T-1.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
K Yes... that is what has been my experience, as well. Firefox needs work, I
