Well, here is the problem. You have GLX from nVidia but nVidia driver is not active. So no 3D is possible which likely explains why advanced DE cannot be started. I'm sorry, I missed starting of this thread but at this point you really need to decode what you want to use as primary card (Intel or nVidia), further steps depend on this. As I myself do not use nVidia part at all, I simply settled on modesetting + nouveau which is enough to power down nVidia automatically without any additional modules like bbswitch.
