GAIM 1.1.4 in 9.3

I am trying to use the MSN client in GAIM 1.1.4 that's included with SuSE 9.3, but it keep failing to connect. I have tried connecting on my XP box using the same login and password, and I don't have any issues there. The error in the GAIM/MSN window is: "Unable to authenticate: Unable to connect" And, as I stated above, the XP client with the same username and password work. Is there something I am missing, or has there been some GAIM notice I missed? Thanks Eric
