I had same problem with Leap 15.0 install on HP ProLiant DL380
server.
Created bios_boot partition manually, and installed still complained that it does not exists. Somehow get around in an awkward way, can't recall exactly how.
For me it was
1) Make sure bios is set for EFI (not legacy) but NOT UEFI
how can this be possible?
guess it would depend on your particular bios menu. remember where this uefi/efi came from
I may be screwing up my terms slightly... but my Dell bios-en definitely have such a setup. NOT Secure Mode (where the installer will prompt for accepting certificates, and which I am thinking is UEFI) NOR Legacy modes - but still wants that /boot/efi. Not in a position to reboot and note the exact terms from my bios. The install summary definitely had the words "grub2" and "efi" in the same line :) Michael -- Michael Fischer michael@visv.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
