and after a few moments i get /dev/sda1 /media/sda1 auto sync,noauto,user,exec 0 0 #HOTPLUG B3Fu.7tGrZqa8vI6 in /etc/fstab But it doesnt mount.
How can i get it automounted and ready for use as i connect it, and how do i umount it after use?

I have tried following the howto's and texts regarding automount, but it still doesn't work. The kernel finds it but somehow the automounter doesn't mount anything. Also, found out that the rest of the automount features (cd/cd-rw) is non functional too. I did a update from vanilla 9.0 KDE to KDE 3.3.91 Via apt. And something was removed. (kdebase3-SuSE) I cant reinstall it due to dependenciesand warnings about being broken.
