I am thinking about trying a new linux adventure and installing 64bit 11.1 on the laptop that I use for work. I am wondering if I install the 64 bit operating system in root, can I use the old 32 bit home? Or, does that need to be formatted and made new in 64 bit too?
But, except for binaries that you have opted to place under *home*, it is neither 32 nor 64 bit. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
