Hello: I would like to build kernel modules in openSUSE 11.2. In 10.3 I had the followng kernel packages installed: kernel-syms-2.6.22.19-0.4 kernel-default-2.6.22.19-0.4 kernel-source-2.6.22.19-0.4 linux-kernel-headers-2.6.22-19 and the following source directories: /usr/src/linux /usr/src/linux-obj In 11.2 I have installed so far: kernel-default-2.6.31.5-0.1.1.i586 linux-kernel-headers-2.6.31-3.4.noarch kernel-source-2.6.31.5-0.1.1.noarch which resulted in the following source directorie: /usr/src/linux There is no /usr/src/linux-obj and I have not installed kernel-syms yet (since it would pull down kernel devel packages for all flavors, which I don't understand why). Could someone advise me documentaion on what are the differences compared to 10.x and how to build modules in 11.2?
