I can't make kde/plasma accept my full hd script (see other thread), so I may as well revert to xfce that do (keeping kde apps).
I have just now two things I miss from kde, are they feasible with xfce?:
* make applications (thunderbird, firefox, chromium, kpat) open always on the same desktop/workspace?
I have this with firefox, and I don't know how it happened. When firefox opens, it remember that some windows were in desktop 3, other in number 6, other in number 9... I don't know if this is new feature of firefox or of XFCE.
* have all the open applications icons available in the taskbar, not only the current desktop/workspace?
Yes, this is doable. I know because I don't like it and change to only show the current desktop apps. But I don't remember exactly where. You have to visit: Settings Appearance Session and Startup Window Manager Window Manager Tweaks <== Workspaces Tweaks has "cycle trhough windows on all worskpaces" - no, this is not it. I don't see it, but I know it is somewhere. I have to go. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.1 x86_64 at Telcontar)
