Hello: I have openSUSE 11.1 for testing. I updated it and now it can not boot. I tried to use openSUSE 11.1 installation DVD but it does not work either. No matter if I choose 'repair installed system' or 'rescue system', after booting the kernel it gives the following error message:
openSUSE installation program v3.3.22 (c) 1996-2008 SUSE Linux Products GmbH <<< Starting udev... ok
Linuxrc crashed. :-(( Press ENTER to continue Pressing enter gives: udevd[686]: bind failed: Address already in use udevd[686]: error binding control socket, seem udevd is already running What can be the problem? I can boot 10.3 on the same system without error. Thanks, Istvan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
