Hi.
I have a wired LAN here. To my ISP router I also have a Linksys Wireless router. As such the Wireless router is conencted to the LAN. With what can I monitor the signalstrenght and maybe other goodies via the LAN ? --
From any machine that has a wireless network card, you can right click KnetworkManager in the tray area and it will show you the signal strength of any router it can see, yours or your neighbors.
Ubuntu has something called NetworkManager that does the same thing. You don't have to be connected to that router, you don't have to be using your wireless nic, (you could be connected by wires) but you do have to have a wireless nic. -- ----------JSA--------- Someone stole my tag line, so now I have this rental. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
