I can't understand your cryptic RES at all, but in essence you are saying that you can't hear any sound coming from rosegarden. Sure, $ timidity -iA && rosegaden doesn't produce any sound. But if I do $ fluidsynth -a alsa /usr/share/sounds/sf2/FluidR3_GM.sf2 && rosegarden the midi file plays fine. Then, start qsynth and go to setup --> Soundfons, and enter this; /usr/share/sounds/sf2/FluidR3_GM.sf2. I think this might be the solution.
