As I started the indexing with default values from a terminal, I can see what it is indexing. I see it wasting time with /home/cer/LOG_imapsync/, so I open the config to exclude that directory; but it continues indexing the path. Seems to ignore configuration changes done while indexing is running.
It finished the indexing, and I searched for a text string that I know happens in my LO documents. It found it in many places, except email and LO docs, which is what I want it to do. Now, I don't remember how to do a text search using tracker in nautilus or xfce. No, the search in nautilus searches file names only. I can only do it on the CLI: tracker3 search text But it finds the wrong texts.
