You might do something like this: ISP | | Modem | | DMZ | |-- 1 external addresses Linux -------------|switch |-- 2 router | |-- 3 | | |-- 4 | |-- 5 switch ||||| internal machines. The Linux router machine would be the one holding the control and the important firewall. SuSEfirewall2 could be configured for this. firewalld, I'm not that familiar with it to know.
