There is nothing wrong with your installation of linux, linux can only recongnise 64MB of system memory. To get it to recongnise all your memory you must add the following line to your lilo.conf file after the line: Start LILO global Section
append="mem=256M"
or if you use a boot disk use the following:
linux mem=256M <enter>
Daniel, Ok, the planets have aligned and the append line worked ..the machines sees all the mem now. Apparently the new bios messes with Linux and it can't read the memory correctly. The previous version of the bios worked w/ out any modifications. I don't have a valid reason for why this happened..and I don't care..all the memory is being seen..and now I can get some work done..
