when i try to login to kde as root it says my password is invalid even though i type in the correct address. also, if i log in as a user and open a terminal window and try to become root by typing "su" then the correct password it says the password is wrong. also, when i try to go to the control center, it asks for the root password but says it's the wrong one when i type it in.
If you get a message saying it's the wrong password in three different places, what leads you to believe that it's the correct password? Can you log in as root anywhere using that password? -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
