It's really a shame that KDE has been out this long, with so many distro's and they wait until 3.2.1 to fix it? Is this an inside joke with the KDE team? (and Gnome because their editor sucks too!) -- ---------- Original Message ----------- From: James Knott <james.knott@rogers.com> To: suse-linux-e@suse.com Sent: Thu, 07 Oct 2004 13:51:58 -0400 Subject: Re: [SLE] KDE Menu editing

Hi All I've been trying to edit the menu for a while using KDE 3.2.1 on SUSE 9.1, all I wanted to do was add two items , I put one in Office and one in system using the menu editor and now those two sub menus won't expand in the menu editor although they both have + next to them. So I can't edit my entries at all now. From what has been said in this thread it seems the menu editor don't work as it should, all I have to say to the development team for the menu editor is SHAME ON YOU. I've been looking for a way to manually edit a config file or what ever is used for the menus but so far have not found one the does the job. If someone knows where it is and how to remove entries please let me know.
I upgraded to KDE 3.2.3, to solve that problem.
