I have the most recent snapshot of tumbleweed installed. However it does not accept updates. When I put in the address, the repo is accepted without complain (link form the webpage of tubleweed. But when I try to do an update: no update repo defined.

Sounds like you do not have any repositories defined or enabled. At a minimum for Tw you should have: http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/ http://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/non-oss/
