Subject: RE: [SLE] wine
As far as I remember you need to install a special version of wine-lib for IBM HPBuilder, as it doesn't always work with certain builds of wine. Well, I did for the beta....
I can't remember the URL, but you should be able to get it from the IBM website. It used to try and open the URL automatically if Wine wasn't installed...
HPBuilder, and Corel Photopaint use wine-lib not wine. But to get them to work properly they need to be seperated from each other. Usually they simply rename the wine-lib library file to something like corel-winelib. or similar. In my experience to get the two above programs working and wine, you need to install HPBuilder first with it's version of winelib. Then install Corel Photopaint, and finally set up the wine for yourself. For some reason installing either wine or Photopaint before HPBuilder means HPBuilder refuses to work and complains about wine versions. With wine before Photopaint, and I get some funny things happening in Photopaint (bad fonts, dodgy dialog boxes, etc.).
Hope you get it to work, as it's an excellent package...
RikD.

<p>I like to install IBM HPbuilder but i have proble with configure wine. I
installed wine from SuSE CD.
I have SuSE 7.0, XFree 4.0, KDE 1.2 (and 2.0). I'm using iso-8859-2 fonts and
Slovenian keyboard.
After edit wine.conf i get error:

fixme:keyboard:X11DRV_KEYBOARD_DetectLayout Your keyboard layout was not found!
Instead using closest match (040a) for scancode mapping.
Please define your layout in windows/x11drv/keyboard.c and submit them
to us for inclusion into future Wine releases.
See documentation/keyboard for more information.
Usage: wine [options] "program_name [arguments]"
Thanks,
Mitja
