I've done this at work (for testing purposes) using UnixODBC, at this moment I don't remember the URL but if you take a look at freshmeat it should not be a problem. After installing the UnixODBC driver on Linux you need to install an ODBC to ODBC on the Windows machine or similar and you can access to any Data Source of the windows machine (Oracle, SQL Server, Access...). Sorry for no giving details, I tested this long time ago, and it was easy to access to SQL Server from a test program so the only think I remember is that it was well described on the web. Hello Linux folkz, Does somebody know how to access MS SQL7 database from Linux? May be somebody knows about graphical front end application for this purpose? Thanks in advance. Alex
