Is there a howto to use/control an ipod under linux instead of windows
Haven't seen a howto, but I use Amarok and gtkpod for mine
How do you go about that? Can you download from iTunes? My mom has been bugging me, because she wants to get an iPod. Since I refuse to get one, I know very little about how it all works on either Wintendo or Linux.
I did manage to get iTunes running under CX Office yesterday just as a test.

I'm not sure if it works with an ipod or not.
Of course, I emailed Apple support and asked where the iPod Linux client is. Have you?
gtkpod has nothing to do with the iTunes store. I have my collection and don't use itunes anyway. I have this thing about drm music. my cd collection moved to the ipod nicely using gtkpod. -- One day at a time, one second if that's what it takes -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
