Hi,
Does anyone know how to bind multiple ip address to a single ethernet card?
For example, I have an ethernet modem with an external ip address that is allocated via eth0 (this I have already done and is connected on eth0 and works properly). I would now like to create an internal ip address on the same network card (eth0:1) that has a static ip address (ie 192.168.0.251),
How can this be done via yast? Is there a Suse Howto to do this?
Yast supports additional addresses. In 10.3, on the network card address tab, there's a box at the bottom, with an Add button. That's what you use. I just checked in 10.0 and it's there too, but with a different method of getting to the add address point. -- Use OpenOffice.org http://www.openoffice.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
