I have recently switched to IMAP, and I'm seeing a little weird issue with TB - occasionally I'll start replying to a mail, then get interrupted and save it in Drafts (or it happens automatically). WHen I resume a little later and send the mail, the copy in Drafts isn't deleted and sometimes the original mail isn't tagged as "replied to".
I am still using TB2 (not sure if Lightning works with TB3). Has anyone seeing a similar issue?
I've been using TBird for a very long while and have used it with a few different versions of IMAP. Your problem isn't with IMAP.
Hmm, I didn't have this problem until I switched to IMAP.
Prior to Imap, your drafts folder was probably local. With most Imap set ups, your drafts resides on the imap server, and that is when this really gets annoying, because your other machines can see these drafts too. As I type this, I pause and pick up my phone which also watches this gmail account, and my draft of this message appear there as well. If you force thunderbird to use a local drafts folder you tend not to see these temporary drafts, but they are still created. Tbird is supposed to delete these instantly upon send, but this stopped happening for some versions. I think its a bug that will go away in a future release. -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
