Try a newer kernel from kernel:stable:backports.
Yes, that's what I'm going to do, hopefully this afternoon.
Don't forget to enable multiple kernels. Okay. You can boot into a different snapshot and rollback but I find it convenient to be able to choose between kernels.
I don't have snapshots. I don't have any machine with btrfs root. Too experimental. aka I don't use on "/" a filesystem I don't understand.
in /etc/zypp/zypp.conf
multiversion = provides:multiversion(kernel) multiversion.kernels = latest,latest-1,running
You can also pin down your kernel that you have right now. Use what it says in # uname --kernel-release
Laicolasse:~ # uname --kernel-release 5.14.21-150400.24.46-default Laicolasse:~ #
Due to some old bugs I needed 5.8.12 for a while. I have this on my dev machine: multiversion.kernels = latest,running,5.8.12-1-default,5.8.12-1
Ok. I used that setting not very long ago and it did not work. I have written: ]> multiversion.kernels = latest,latest-1,running,5.14.21-150400.24.46-default -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.4 x86_64 at Telcontar)
