recently i get directed to search.com a lot. and most of my bookmarks are Search labeled (the icon is "S"). I dont know what i did with firefox, perhaps coz of addons?? How do I get rid of this annoying Search? Sometime when I browse to some sites like opensuse.org, firefox will report that the website could not be found. But if i refresh the page, it shows as normal. Of course this is very annoying coz i need to refresh most of the time ... i am using opensuse 11.1 64 bit
move your firefox configuration away from where firefox expects and see it if corrects your problem. Then you can return one file at a time until you determine which causes your problem, remove that file and move your *old* configuration back. mv ~/.mozilla/firefox ~/.mozilla/firefox.old firefox will recreate its configuration. MidNightCommander would be my choice for manipulating the files. mc ~/.mozilla/firefox ~/.mozilla/firefox.old gud luk, -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
