Now i want to startup the imap server, but when i run: /etc/rc.d/courir-imap start
rccou[tab][tab] start[enter]
almost correct thnx! overhere: rccou[tab][tab] gives: rccourier- , than, imap, [space] start [enter] but it works, thnx carlos ;-)
or
service courier-imap status
As in the subjectline in/etc/rc.d/ are many files, but they all have an * in front of them, and i cannot create an * in tty.
Front? An asterisk behind in xterm means it is executable, and it is not part of the name. But yes, you can type an * if youescape it.
in mc many files have an asterisk in front of them yes... but that is of no concern now, i go and see if i can connect.... thnx again.. :-)
