Hi All, I'm currently running 11.3 with KDE 4.6.5 "release 8" from /repositories/KDE:/Release:/46/openSUSE_11.3/ I have set up a panel on the left of the screen which holds the main KDE menu and icons for my most frequently used applications, it is set to Autohide. This has been the case since at least KDE4.1 and has worked as expected. For the last couple of weeks, however, it has been behaving very strangely: immediately after login, the panel is placed 1024 pixels into the desktop (that is, when the mouse pointer hovers 1024 pixels from the left edge, the blue shading appears, then the panel shows itself just before jumping to its correct left-edge position. It remains on the left edge until a window is opened which aligns with the left screen edge - at that point, the panel attaches itself to the right-hand edge of the currently active window (see attached image.) I'm at a loss as to what might be causing this behaviour - any suggestions would be most welcome. Dylan -- " '... but there is so much else behind what I say.
